Ingredients
- ½ cup pumpkin puree
- 1 banana
- 6 oz vanilla yogurt
- Ice
- ½ pumpkin pie spice
- 1 teaspoon honey
- 3 tablespoon milk
Instructions
- Blend all ingredients until smooth and enjoy!
- Optional: garnish with whipped cream and nutmeg.
Pumpkin Soup Recipe
A classic and very easy soup to make for the colder months, and you don’t even need to use dairy to make it super creamy.
Ingredients
- 2 lb pumpkin, seeds and skin removed, chopped into chunks *
- 3 cups of chicken stock
- 1 cup of milk **
- 2 garlic cloves (minced)
- 2 medium onions (sliced)
- Salt and pepper
Instructions
- Place all ingredients (except salt and pepper) in a sauce pan and boil
- . Lower the heat and let it simmer until pumpkin is tender.
- Remove from heat and blend until smooth.
- Season with salt and pepper.
*You can use canned pumpkin puree if you’re in a hurry.
** You can use coconut milk or cream

How to Make Pumpkin Alfredo
An autumn twist for this all-time pasta sauce favorite.
Ingredients
- Spaghetti (or your choice of pasta)
- 1 cup canned pumpkin
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 ½ cups half and half
- ½ Parmesan cheese (plus more for serving)
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
- Salt and pepper
- Chicken (if you like)
Instructions
- Cook pasta in a large pot of salted boiling water. Once cooked or tender, drain and set aside.
- In a skillet over medium heat, melt the butter and cook the garlic for around 30 seconds.
- Add the half & half and pumpkin and whisk until well combined. Put in the cheese and salt and pepper.
- Simmer for about 5 minutes.
- Mix the pasta with the sauce and add some chicken, if you like.
- Garnish with parsley and Parmesan.
Pumpkin Dump Cake Recipe
This cake is extremely easy and you won’t have to wash a lot of dishes when you finish cooking.
Ingredients
- 1 can pumpkin puree
- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 can evaporated milk
- 3 eggs
- 2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
- 1 cup butter
- 1 cup pecans, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350° F.
- Butter a 9 x 13 inch cake pan
- Whisk to combine the evaporated milk, brown sugar, pumpkin, eggs and pumpkin pie spice.
- Pour the mix into the prepared pan.
- Sprinkle the yellow cake powder mix evenly on top.
- Scatter the chopped pecans evenly over the cake powder mix.
- Melt the butter and pour it on top of the cake.
- Bake from 45 to 50 minutes, until edges are browned or a toothpick inserted on the middle comes out clean.
Pumpkin Hot Chocolate Recipe
No fall or winter menu is complete without hot chocolate. Here is an option with pumpkin too.
Ingredients
- ½ cup pumpkin puree
- 2 cups milk
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1/3 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- ½ teaspoon vanilla
- ¾ teaspoon cinnamon
- ¼ teaspoon nutmeg
- Powdered ginger
Instructions
- In a saucepan at low heat pour in milk and let it warm.
- Whisk in pumpkin puree
- Add all the spices (nutmeg, cinnamon and ginger), sugar and vanilla and mix thoroughly.
- Add chocolate chips and stir. Let it simmer for around 7 minutes.
- Serve warm and garnish with whipped cream and coconut flakes.
Make Peanut Butter and Pumpkin Dog Treats
Let’s not forget our furry friends in this pumpkin celebration, here’s a treat for them.
Ingredients
- ½ cup pumpkin puree
- ¼ cup peanut butter (no sugar, oil or salt added)
- ½ teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 cup oat flour*
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350° F. Line one or two cookie sheets with parchment paper.
- Mix all ingredients on a stand mixer at medium speed. The batter should be thick and not sticky, like cookies.
- Roll the dough to ¼ inch thickness and cut with a cookie cutter.
- Bake for 15 minutes until the treats are firm.
